Interior design of a bakery
- Objectives: Create a high end store and showcase the products
- Style : Warm, natural, upscale
This commercial architecture rville project involved a complete makeover of a bakery opened about ten years ago. The owners wanted to redesign the overall aesthetic of the store to support the bakery's repositioning towards a more upscale clientele.
The layout of the sales counter was rethought to create more space for customers. To compensate for this reduction in sales area, we worked on height to highlight the products.
The interior designer chose black to create contrasts and make the colors of the products, whether bread or pastries, stand out more.
For the floor, the interior designer selected wood-effect tiles from Iris Ceramica, providing a natural and warm aesthetic while avoiding the issues of real wood (hygiene and durability).
Since the interior renovation, bakery customers report that they can focus more easily on the products for sale.
