Makeover of a loft - apartment
- Dimensions: 62m²
- Objectives: Improve brightness and circulation
Work on lighting, improvement of circulation, new furniture layout, play with colors and materials: discover the complete and thorough transformation of this ground-floor loft apartment.
Sophie lives in a 62 m² loft located on the ground floor, directly overlooking a Parisian dead-end. Before acquiring it and making it her personal home, the place housed a haberdashery. It was then abandoned before becoming a squat. Needless to say, Sophie had to carry out renovations before moving in! Nevertheless, after a few years, the desire for changes became apparent, particularly in the living-dining area.
To establish the diagnosis of the changes to be made, it was necessary first to consider the owner's needs. Despite the presence of large workshop-style windows, the loft lacked brightness. The paint had never been redone since the purchase of the loft-apartment.
Some pieces of furniture, despite their quality, proved impractical on a daily basis. Finally, Sophie needed a proper office space, including additional storage.
